ZAKA Search and Rescue and Magen David Adom are expanding their operational cooperation. ZAKA volunteers who have undergone the required training will download the MDA app and will join the thousands of community first responders who work in cooperation with MDA and are dispatched to save lives at incidents around the country.
ZAKA Chairman Yehuda Meshi-Zahav said in a statement: “I welcome the decision to cooperate with MDA and I am sure that the results will be far-reaching and save lives among the Israeli public.”
MDA Director-General Eli Bin said in a statement: “There is great importance in working shoulder to shoulder and with operational cooperation with ZAKA which deals with Chesed shel Emet that will help save lives.”
