Burglars stole a briefcase belonging to Dr. Shaul Horev, head of Israel’s Atomic Energy Commission in a home break-in.

The burglary at the home of Dr. Horev took place on Sunday night but became public knowledge two days later with the lifting of a gag order. Also stolen was Horev’s wallet and a mobile phone.

The briefcase reportedly was full of documents, but the Atomic Energy Commission said in a statement that no sensitive material was stolen and no classified information was in the house at the time of the robbery. It denied reports that a computer was among the items stolen.

Horev supervises the nuclear reactor in Dimona, and oversees nuclear research and development in Israel.
