“IAF Fighter jets a few minutes ago downed a UAV that was taking off from the Gaza Strip and it was determined it was flying westward in an abnormal fashion, over the Mediterranean, the IDF Spokesperson reported late Thursday morning.

On Wednesday, the Coordinator of Government Operations in the Territories reinstated some of the relief gestures for the residents of the Gaza Strip, which had been revoked following the escalation this week. Following an assessment of the current situation, it was decided to re-activate the Erez and Kerem Shalom crossings. Also, the 15 nautical miles fishing area was reinstated.

When Israel closed the Kerem Shalom and Erez crossings this week, following the day of battle in the south, it banned 7,000 Gaza workers from entering Israel, and reduced the fishing zone.
