IDF Fired at Gaza Firebomb Kite Launchers

The IDF on Wednesday night foiled an attempt by a terrorist kite squad in the Al Bureij area, in the center of the Gaza Strip.

A terror squad was about to launch a firebomb carrying kite to set fire to the fields across the border, in Israeli territory, but just before the kite had taken to the air, an IAF aircraft fired a warning shot at the squad and thwarted the attempt.

The terrorists fled, leaving their kite behind.

The IDF Spokesperson twitted last week: “IDF troops are reinforced along the Gaza Strip security fence in order to protect security infrastructure and defend Israeli civilians in the communities surrounding the Gaza Strip from the attempted terror attacks led by the Hamas terror organization.”
