The Islamic Jihad on Sunday showed off its new long-range rocket on the Al Alam Iranian TV channel, along with other weapons. The terror group boasted the rocket was able to reach Tel Aviv and Netanya.
The presentation was made in a documentary style, in which PIJ introduced a rocket-making factory in the Gaza Strip.
PIJ claimed the new rocket was the same as the precision rocket that last November hit an apartment building in Ashkelon, killing one Arab.
A PIJ spokesman followed the TV presentation with a statement saying: “The images in the video are only a small part of what the enemy with see in a future confrontation, the proof of which was in the last round with the rocket to Ashkelon.”
