Ten rocket alerts began sounding from 6:58 AM until 7:01 AM in two dozen locations in communities along the Gaza border region.

Residents are reporting that they hear 4 explosions in the distance. Residents also report that Iron Dome was launched.

In the Eshkol region, all school bus transportation was temporarily put on hold. Residents were told to stay in their bomb shelters.

Update: School transportation has since been restarted, and there will be school this morning.

The Rocket Count:

The IDF reports that 25 mortars were fired at Israel from Gaza, most were shot down.

The Eshkol region reports that there were 2 hits inside their communities. No injuries were reported. No updates yet on damage.

One rocket landed in the yard of a nursery school in the Gaza border Eshkol region. There were no children in school at the time.

Nothing landed in the Shaar HaNegev region.

There were 15 interceptions according to Reshet Bet.

20 rockets were fired at Israel according to Channel 2.

IDF tanks are shooting at Hamas positions in Gaza.

At 4:24 AM, the Israeli Air Force hit targets in Gaza in response to the heavy gunfire that hit Sderot last night.
