Demolished home in racket attack, March 25, 2019

A missile launched from the Gaza Strip hit a private home in moshav Mishmeret in the Sharon area, just outside Tel Aviv. Seven people, members of one family, were injured as a result of the attack. The house was destroyed.

Firefighters transferred four pet dogs found inside the homes to MDA teams in an attempt to save them, but all four dogs died of their wounds.

The PM’s Office reported: Netanyahu is updated on the rocket fire. In the next few minutes, a telephone consultation will be held with the chief of staff, the head of the Shin Bet security service, the head of the NSC and senior security officials.

All of the wounded were evacuated to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, suffering from shrapnel injuries.

In addition, there were several victims of anxiety attack.

Among the wounded was a 59-year-old woman who was moderately wounded and six lightly wounded, a baby about six-months old and a three-year-old toddler.

An MDA Spokesman reported: At 5:22 AM, a report was received in the MDA 101 Emergency Dispatch Center of a rocket which hit a house in one of the Sharon villages. MDA EMTs and Paramedics provided medical attention to the residents.

The entrance to Mishmeret was blocked.

The alarms were heard in the following settlements in the Sharon region: Beit Berl, Gan Haim, Kfar Saba, Neve Yamin, Nir Eliyahu, Tzofit, Sde Warburg; and in Emek Hefer: Eyal, Ilanot, Bnei Dror, Geulaim, Herut, Taybeh, Tira, Kokhav Yair, Kfar Hess, Kfar Yavetz, Kfar Avoda, Azriel, Ein Vered, Tzur Moshe, Tzur Natan, Kalansua, Ramat Hakovesh, Sha’ar Efrayim, and Tel Mond.
