Hamas leader Hassan Yousef arrested in 2014.

Sheikh Hassan Yousef, a founding leader of Hamas and father of the “Green Prince“, was arrested by Israeli security forces on Tuesday night in Ramallah.

Yousef was one of 32 Palestinian Authority Arabs arrested for involvement in terror attacks and rioting. He has been arrested a number of times over the past few years, and in fact was just recently released from administrative detention.

He was specifically arrested for promoting Hamas activities in Judea and Samaria.

Since US President Trump’s proclamation officially recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, there has been an upswing in Arab rioting, violence and terror.
