Gaza Arabs have requested permission from the IDF to cross the security fence into Israel, according to a report tweeted Wednesday by Mivzak24.
The request was submitted to the military for the purpose of searching the terrorist tunnel destroyed Monday in a controlled explosion by the IDF, in order to find the bodies of fallen and missing members of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas terrorist organization.
According to the report, the IDF rejected the request.
Perhaps they can make a deal. Maybe they can swap the bodies of IDF soldiers Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul, and several living Israeli hostages, for an equal number of dead tunnel terrorists.
It’s despicable. Hamas has held the bodies of the two fallen IDF soldiers since both died in battle in the summer of 2014. To this day Gaza’s ruling terror group has refused every request by numerous parties in the region and abroad to release their bodies to Israel and even rejected a request for information about the two soldiers, and two other living Israeli hostages, from International Red Cross President Peter Maurer.
It’s not yet entirely clear how many terrorists have died and how many were injured, how many were retrieved in Gaza and how many remain entombed on the Israeli side of the border, but the IDF believes that the number of dead terrorists is at least 19.
