Israeli forces are continuing to hunt down and eliminate terrorists in the area of Jabaliya, in northern Gaza — a section of the enclave where Hamas has been busy reconstituting its forces in recent months.
Soldiers in the Givati Brigade spotted — and eliminated — several terrorists moving in the vicinity during their operations this week.
Using drone reconnaissance, the soldiers identified three terrorists who were approaching the forces while hiding in a nearby building.
The terrorists tried to attack the soldiers using a tunnel shaft inside the building, the IDF said.
The above video footage of the encounter shows one of the terrorists, armed, inside the building positioning himself for a shot at the troops.
The soldiers opened fire and eliminated two of the terrorists who were hiding. The third terrorist was then eliminated in a targeted operation conducted by Givati Brigade soldiers, the IDF said.
