For the second time in two days, Hamas terrorists in Gaza launched a rocket attack at Israeli civilians. Red Alert sirens were triggered in Sderot, Mefalsim and elsewhere in the Gaza Envelope.

According to the IDF, approximately five rockets crossed from northern Gaza into Israeli territory at around 4:26 pm local time.

At least two of the rockets were intercepted by Israel’s Aerial Defense Array: the rest “likely fell in open areas,” the IDF said.

Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh, Gush Etzion Targeted in Shabbat Rocket Attack from Gaza

One day earlier, Red Alert sirens were triggered in Jerusalem, Beit Shemesh and Gush Etzion, sending millions of Israelis racing for cover, when Hamas fired two long-range rockets from Gaza at central Israel.

The attack was launched from the northern Gaza city of Beit Hanoun. Both rockets were intercepted.
