An Israeli military officer was wounded Friday while thousands of Gazans hurled burning tires, rocks, live grenades and other explosives at IDF soldiers defending Israel’s southern border.
The attackers also launched incendiary balloons over the border into Israeli territory, to set fire to agricultural fields and forest land.
At least 11,000 Hamas-led Arabs took part in attacks on IDF soldiers and attempts to damage the security fence along the Gaza border.
As thousands of Israeli families got ready for the Sabbath dinner, 11K Gazans rioted minutes away on the Israel-Gaza border fence, throwing explosives & grenades.

The injured officer, a member of Israel’s Border Guard Police, sustained a shrapnel wound in the leg. He was evacuated to Barzilai Medical Center in nearby Ashkelon.
Gaza Arabs have been rioting weekly – and sometimes daily – at the border since March 30, 2018.
