Rocket crossing!

At 8:02 AM, the rocket alerts went off again for a second barrage of rocket/mortar launches from Gaza. At around 7:00 AM, the Gazans had launched 25 mortars at a dozen Israeli Gaza border communities.

The IDF reports that two mortars were launched and landed in open area, in this round. Arabs report that they launched 10 mortars, which if true, means most of their mortars did not make it past the border fence.

Arabs report that a fire has broken out from a mortar strike at the Kerem Shalom crossing. This report is unconfirmed by the Israeli side.

The Kerem Shalom crossing is used to transport medical supplies, humanitarian aid and commercial supplies from Israel to Gaza.

An additional mortar was fired at 10:04 AM.
