Two Arab residents of the Palestinian Authority capital city of Ramallah have been arrested in connection with Tuesday morning’s drive-by terror attack. A car with Palestinian Authority license plates opened fire on Israeli vehicles in the Binyamin region as it passed by.
The attack took place at approximately 7:30 am at the Parsa Junction near the Jewish communities of Dolev and Talmon, in the Binyamin region.
At least one car was hit and damaged by the flying bullets, but miraculously no one was physically injured in the attack.
According to a statement by the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet), during their initial interrogation the two suspects “tied themselves to the attack.”
The pair were arrested “during intelligence and operational activities” carried out by Shin Bet agents together with IDF soldiers from the Binyamin Brigade and Israel Police.
The suspects were transferred to Shin Bet interrogators for further questioning.
