Jerusalem Police on Wednesday arrested two Waqf Charity agents who attacked police officers and Jewish visitors at the Temple Mount compound, the Police Spokesperson’s Office reported.
According to Police, a group of Jewish visitors on the Temple Mount who were on their way out, stood and sang Israel’s anthem Hatikvah. Police officers who accompanied the group immediately began removing them from the site, because any expression of Jewish aspiration is verboten on the Temple Mount, according to the Netanyahu government.
While the removal of the singing Jews was taking place, Waqf agents they began to shout at the visitors and tried to attack them, only to be blocked by Police. In response, the believers in Mohammed’s faith of peace attacked the officers.
The officers eventually managed to both remove the patriotic Jewish group from the Temple Mount and arrest two Waqf agents.
Police are currently conducting an investigation into the incident and intend to question the singing Jews regarding their performance. Hopefully, said Jews will be successful in acquainting Israeli police officers with the Israeli national anthem, which should be sung freely wherever a Jew is inspired to do so.
Earlier, Police removed a group of 15 Jews who dared to bow on the Temple Mount, the site where Muslims freely prostrate themselves on the sacred ground five times a day.
