Elbit Systems has received a contract valued at around $60 million to deliver its multi-layered Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS) to a NATO European country. The project will be carried out over the next 3 years.

Under the terms of the contract, Elbit Systems will supply its ReDrone™ modular Counter-UAS solution. This solution includes Elbit Systems’ cutting-edge DAiR Radar, SIGINT (Signal Intelligence) sensors, EW (Electronic Warfare) countermeasures, and EO (Electro-Optical) day/night payloads. These components work together to deliver an advanced, integrated aerial picture and robust electronic attack capabilities.

The ReDrone modular, multi-sensor, and multi-mission system is a key component of Elbit’s advanced EW, Radars, and SIGINT portfolio. It offers capabilities that extend beyond traditional active and passive sensors, allowing for the rapid detection and localization of multiple drones across various communication channels within a protected area.

The system is capable of detecting, identifying, locating, tracking, and neutralizing hostile UAS, both during the day and at night, in urban and rural environments, and under diverse weather conditions. The solution is available in both stationary and mobile configurations, which can be mounted on vehicular platforms to enhance operational flexibility. It also features advanced C4I (Command and Control) capabilities for comprehensive mission management.

Oren Sabag, General Manager of Elbit Systems, commented, “This contract, awarded in response to the growing threat posed by unmanned aerial systems, follows a series of similar agreements in the C-UAS field. We are proud that another NATO member country has selected our solution, underscoring the strength and effectiveness of our system, which leverages our advanced capabilities in EW, SIGINT, radar, and EO technologies.”
