Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro is scheduled to arrive for the first time in Israel for a four-day visit, beginning March 31, the foreign ministry has announced.

Bolsonaro is reciprocating Netanyahu’s visit to Brazil last December. The visit will begin just 10 days before Israel’s upcoming national elections on April 9.

It’s not yet clear whether the newly-inaugurated president will use the occasion to announce a relocation of Brazil’s embassy to Jerusalem.

Bolsonaro has confirmed on more than one occasion he fully intends to move his nation’s embassy to Israel’s capital city.
