Franck Allais, a freelance photographer, was the individual behind the street sign in London that some thought to be an anti-Semitic slur, according to a report in The JC.
The street sign, installed near a synagogue, showed an Orthodox man inside a warning sign.
Allais apologized that his work had upset the community or that people had taken offense. He said had made the sign as part of a larger artistic project on identity.
It turns out that Allais had put up a number of different signs on the street, but this was the only one that people had noticed.
