Israel’s Health Ministry reported there were 215 new cases of COVID-19 diagnosed Thursday.

The figure brought Israel’s number of those diagnosed with the novel coronavirus to a total of 19,998 — just shy of the 20,000 mark.

The Health Ministry also reported there are currently 4,177 Israelis actively ill and fighting the virus.
