Here Next Year, a group dedicated to empowering yeshiva and seminary students to fulfill their dreams of staying in Israel for IDF service, Sherut Leumi and university studies, in collaboration with Nefesh B’Nefesh, on Saturday night held the 4th annual Israel Fair at the Ramada Hotel in Jerusalem. The fair offered young students spending the Gap Year in Israel information about their opportunities as olim in the Jewish State.
The fair featured representatives from Nefesh B’Nefesh and Army and Sherut Leumi programs, as well as from universities and colleges from across Israel.
There were also young Olim on hand, to share their own personal experiences and act as peer resources for the Gap Year in Israel students. It was an excellent opportunity for these Gap Year in Israel students to meet like-minded friends and connect to a strong support system.
“The energy at the Here Next Year Israel Fair was simply incredible,” said Marc Rosenberg, Director of Pre-Aliyah at Nefesh B’Nefesh. “It is truly an amazing experience to see almost 500 young people gathered together to explore their future options in the Jewish country, and we are proud to partner with Here Next Year on this event.”
