An Israeli man and his son were attacked in the Palestinian Authority (PA) city of Qalqilya on Wednesday night after the two entered the city in search of the son’s stolen motorcycle.
During their brief visit, their car was stolen, as was was the father’s handgun and a sum of money.
The two were treated for light injuries, including a head injury.
The entry of Israelis into PA cities and areas involves grave danger and often ends with the locals attempting to lynch the Israelis.
There is a massive market for cars stolen from Israel in the PA. The Israel police have a designated unit that contends solely with car thefts from Israel to the PA.
