The Population and Immigration Authority announces that in light of the situation, B1 visas for foreign workers in the areas of nursing care, agriculture, chefs, and experts, expired March 10 and May 5, 2020, will be automatically extended, without the need to file an application and pay a fee, for a period of two months from the expiration of the original visa.

Whoever holds a B1 working visa in one of the above sectors does not need to go to a Population and Immigration Authority office for an extension.

Likewise, the licensees of employers with employment permits in agriculture, experts and chefs, whose permit expires between March 10 and May 5, 2020, the permit will be extended automatically for two months, without the need to file an application and pay a fee.
