The Hamas terrorist organization has announced that among the four deceased hostages to be returned to Israel on Thursday are three members of the Bibas family.

Shiri Bibas, 33, was abducted by the terrorists on October 7th along with her two small children, 9-month-old baby Kfir and his older brother, four-year-old Ariel. Shiri’s husband Yarden was also kidnapped, but held separately from his loved ones.

Yarden Bibas, Shiri’s husband and father of their two small boys, was freed from Hamas captivity on February 1.

The Bibas family in Israel said Tuesday that it had not yet received official government confirmation that their loved ones did not survive Hamas captivity. Israeli officials have said little other than to express “grave concern” over the fate of Shiri and the two children.

“Until we receive definitive confirmation, our journey is not over,” the family said in a statement released by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum.

Hamas announced that Shiri and her two children were no longer alive in November 2023. The terrorists later filmed a video of Yarden having been informed of their deaths, tearfully begging for their bodies to be returned to Israel for burial.
