The IDF cleared for publication that two soldiers were killed in Tuesday morning’s shooting attack in the Jordan Valley at the Tayasir checkpoint.

One of the soldiers killed was identified as Sgt. Maj. (res.) Ofer Yung, a 39 year-old squad commander from Tel Aviv.

Kibbutz Ein HaNatziv announced that Tzvika Friedman was the second soldier killed in Tuesday’s morning Jordan Valley terror attack.

“It is with great sadness and pain that we announce the death of Zvika Friedman in this morning’s terrorist attack,” the kibbutz said.

Six other soldiers were injured in the attack. Two are in moderate-to-serious condition while four had light wounds.
