Addressing a divided nation ahead of the hostage release deal with Hamas, which will also see release of terrorists from Israeli prisons and withdrawal of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from Gaza, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu highlighted the temporary character of the ceasefire.
He said Israel can get back to fighting after the first stage of the deal in case future negotiations do not bring progress. This stand is supported by the US, PM mentioned. Israeli officials said that Israel has a written guarantee from Biden and assurances from Trump.
The IDF will stay in the Philadelphi corridor.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the fact that terrorists with blood on their hands will not be released to Judea or Samaria, but either to Gaza or to abroad.
