At least 30 foreign ambassadors to Israel so far have accepted the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to attend a reception in honor of the opening of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem next week.

Three of the ambassadors, representing Hungary, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic are members of the European Union and defying an EU directive boycotting the event. Romania and Austria have yet to reply; Russia, so far, is declining to attend.
