Temple Mount

Israeli Police arrested five Arab rioters on the Temple Mount on Monday afternoon.

The arrests took place after a crowd of of Muslim worshipers tried to force their way into the Golden Gate area.

The site has been closed by a court order.

Police officers who were deployed in the area prevented the group from entering. When they tried to force their way, five of the rioters were arrested and held for questioning.

Jewish visits to the Temple Mount continued as usual.
