In a possible retaliation for Sunday’s murder of an Israeli security guard in the Old City of Jerusalem, Arab cars and walls in Hizma, a town in Area B, near the neighborhoods of Neve Yaakov and Pisgat Ze’ev in northeastern Jerusalem, were sprayed with nationalistic graffiti and tires were slashed, Israel police reported Monday morning.
Police forensic investigators arrived at the scene.
The mayor of Hizma claimed the visitors also tried to break into three homes in his town. The three homes in question are separated from the rest of the town by the security wall, making them part of Area C.
