Meretz Chairwoman Tamar Zandberg has petitioned the Israeli Central Election Committee to extend voting time in the Arab villages by one hour. Arab voter turnout is at record lows.

In addition, Zandberg visited Kafr Kassem in an attempt to get more Arab voters to the voting booths.

There are also calls from mosque loudspeakers in various Arab villages, calling for Arabs to go out and vote.
