An attempt to infiltrate and gather intelligence for a future terrorist attack was thwarted Wednesday in Negohot, in the southern Hebron Hills, according to Hatzalah without Boundaries in Judea and Samaria.

An IDF soldier in Negohot identified a shepherd approaching the settlement, and alerted the military security coordinator, who approached the intruder.

The suspect moved away, but an IDF officer managed to arrest him, and found on his person a knife and a cellphone with which he had snapped images of the settlement, presumably as intelligence to support a future terror attack.
