The world’s first Chocolate and Charity Tour will take place this coming February in Israel (where else?).  The brainchild of Modi’in Tours, the trip includes eight days of travel from Herzliya to four kibbutzim, with Shabbos in Jerusalem.  For more information on rates and availability click here.

While those of you in Chicago may already know, for some it may be surprising that there is a great pizza shop in the Windy City – Tel Aviv Kosher Pizza.  Their nachos are without compare and even the standard tuna in a pita seems to be something to rave about.  They are chalav Yisrael, CRC supervised.

In Denver?  Hop over to East Side Kosher Deli, where you can pick up a bite of Old-New York style food with great taste for a decent price.  They are glatt kosher under the supervision of the Vaad Hakashrus of Denver.

Finally, I found an informative article in the Atlanta-Journal Constitution on the details of making an event kosher.  While most of the focus is on an auction for the William Breman Jewish Home, the writer manages to cover a whole host of kashrus related issues.
