Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Amir Hatami has ordered the ministry to gear up the efforts to produce at least 5,000 gallons of disinfectant per day to counter the spreading coronavirus around the country.

According to Monday’s reports, Iran’s Ministry of Industries (MIMT) has ordered plants and factories producing protective face masks to ramp up production.

According to the opposition National Council of Resistance of Iran, the extent of the coronavirus spread in Iran is much more than what is being reflected in the news. Their assessment is that the coronavirus has spread to at least 19 Iranian cities, more than 3181 people are infected, and 56 people have lost their lives in Iran.
