Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman convened a late-night meeting Tuesday night with the heads of security and defense departments at the IDF Kirya Base military headquarters in Tel Aviv just a few hours after U.S. President Donald Trump announced America’s withdrawal from the JCPOA Iranian nuclear deal.

Kisweh is known to house an Iranian military bunker which has previously been targeted, possibly by Israel, according to Galei Tzahal Israel Army Radio.

The air strike reportedly occurred after an announcement by the IDF, ordering the opening of bomb shelters on the Golan Heights. The Israel Defense Force issued limited emergency draft notices, called “Tzavei 8”, for specific reserve units, including aerial defense and home front command. The Magen David Adom emergency medical service (MDA) has gone to its highest alert level on the Golan Heights.
