Iran’s Yemeni proxies, the Houthis, launched a set of “farewell” hypersonic ballistic missile attacks at Israel on Saturday afternoon.

The terrorist organization has pledged to respect the ceasefire with Israel signed by the Hamas terrorist organization, which is set to begin on Sunday.

Red Alert sirens sent millions of Israelis racing for cover in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and elsewhere in central Israel on Saturday morning.

Sirens sent residents again racing for cover in the afternoon hours, this time in the areas of Eilat and the Arava.

Shrapnel from the morning’s interception and pieces of the missile landed in Bar Giora, a community between Jerusalem and Beit Shemesh. The second fell near Mevo Beitar, just outside of Gush Etzion. Another piece of an interceptor reportedly landed near Lod.

The missile in southern Israel was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force before crossing into Israeli territory, the IDF said.

No injuries or property damage reported in either attack.

Following the attacks, the Houthis issued a statement pledging to “stand by the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and in coordination with it, in order to deal appropriately militarily with any violations or any military escalation committed by the Israeli enemy during the period of implementing the ceasefire agreement.”
