Considering how much he contributed to our shul, most of us simply cannot imagine what congregational life at KI will be like without our beloved chazzan among us.

May God remember how faithfully and consistently Cantor Rockoff prayed on our behalf – and inspired us to pray on behalf of ourselves, our families, and our community.

In that merit, may God bless his dear mother, his loving wife, Dena, their children, grandchildren, his siblings – and his entire family with health, happiness, and the comfort only He can provide.

For the past thirty years Cantor Seymour Rockoff stood at KI’s ammud and faithfully served our congregation. Cantor Rockoff, please continue representing us – and all of Am Yisrael – from the Heavenly Ammud where your neshamah now surely rests.

Knowing that you will continue to serve as our shaliach tzibbur provides us all with a true sense of reassuring comfort.
