Orot Etzion Boys, a National-Religious elementary school located in Efrat, received the Ministry of Education’s 2017 “Pras HaChinuch” Award for Excellence.
The award was presented to the representatives of the school and to Rabbi Tzvi Ne’eman, the Principal of the Orot Etzion Boys school by the Minister of Education Naftali Bennett at a special ceremony in Jerusalem on Tuesday. Members of the Efrat municipality, including the Mayor, Oded Revivi, were also on the stage to accept the award.
The school offers a dual-curriculum in Jewish and secular studies, as well as a rich informal education program.
The Orot Etzion Foundation serves some 1,700 boys and girls in its Gush Etzion school system.
