Orot Etzion Boys, a National-Religious elementary school located in Efrat, has been selected to receive the Ministry of Education’s 2017 “Pras HaChinuch” Award for Excellence.
The award will be given at a special ceremony in Jerusalem in June.
The school offers a dual-curriculum in Jewish and secular studies, as well as a rich informal education program.
The Orot Etzion Foundation serves some 1,700 boys and girls in its Gush Etzion school system.
Rabbi Tzvi Ne’eman, Principal of the Orot Etzion Boys school, told JewishPress.com:
“Orot Etzion has made great strides in recent years in improving the school atmosphere and raising the grades in all study subjects.
The school has developed excellent professional procedures and launched initiatives in religious studies, Zionist studies, individual care, musical education, and social interaction.
The school staff operates with a deep sense of dedication to their educational mission, unbound by time and borne by their great love to the students – for which they deserve recognition with the Education Prize.”
The town of Efrat could not be prouder.
Congratulations.
