Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Ruby Rivlin

Prime Minister Netanyahu will head over to President Rivlin’s house on Tuesday and ask for a 14 day extension to build his coalition.

Netanyahu’s mandate to form a coalition ends next Wednesday, but due to Memorial Day which falls out on Wednesday, he will ask for the extension a day early.

Netanyahu is close to reaching agreements with most his coalition members.
