Two policemen were seriously injured at a shooting attack on Salah A Din Street near the Damascus gate police station at 5:15 PM Israel time. The Arab terrorist was shot dead following a chase, but not before injuring one other policeman. He was carrying a Carl Gustav sub-machine gun.

The Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical center Spokeswoman, Hadar Elboim, released a statement Tuesday evening saying the hospital’s trauma unit received two injured victims of a shooting attack o Salh a Din Street. One, 49, is in very critical condition and in induced coma. The other, 31, is in fair condition and conscious.
