The driver was traveling past the Arab village of Tuqu’a, next to the Jewish community of Tekoa (same name, and both in essentially the same location) when her vehicle was pelted by a barrage of huge rocks, some of which were the decorative blocks used in construction.

Miraculously, the driver was not injured, nor did she lose control of her vehicle, according to Hatzalah Without Borders. Instead, she managed to maintain her focus and was able to continue driving the car until she was able to reach a Jewish town where she could stop safely.

There have been a number of cases when such attacks have in fact resulted in severe injuries, and even Israeli deaths. Israeli penal codes were tightened a few years ago to increase the prison sentence for terrorists who throw rocks at moving vehicles, because they are intended to kill.
