This weekend Palestinian Authority Arabs are celebrating Friday’s murder by terrorists of 17-year-old Rina Shnerb, z’l, handing out candies and sweets to passersby in the streets of Judea, Samaria and Gaza.
Rina, who celebrated her birthday just last week, was hiking with her family in the hills near the Samaria Jewish community of Dolev when an improvised explosive device (IED) hidden on the road exploded, critically wounding the young girl and seriously wounding her father and brother.

Rina succumbed to her wounds shortly after; her father and brother survived. The murder was praised by Gaza’s ruling Hamas organization as a “heroic act.” Arabs throughout the Palestinian Authority-controlled territories happily handed out candies and sweets to celebrate the murder.
Three suspects were reportedly arrested early Saturday morning by Israeli security forces in Samaria after an intensive search for the terrorists. Two of the men were picked up during raids in the village of Ein Arik, according to Arab media. The third suspect was arrested in the nearby village of Ein Qinya, according to Palestinian Authority media reports.
European Union Ambassador to Israel Emanuele Giaufret condemned the attack, as did UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nickolay Mladenov and a host of other international envoys.
“Appalled by the news of the heinous attack on a father and his children in the West Bank this morning,” wrote Giaufret on Twitter. “My thoughts and condolences are with the victims of this despicable act.”
