Arab terrorists in Monday night fired at an Israeli security vehicle near the Arab village of Askaka in the area of the Ephraim Regional Brigade, between Ariel and Rechelim. No one was injured in the attack. The vehicle was hit.
The IDF launched searches in nearby villages, during which they found and confiscated two assault weapons and a handgun.
In another attack in the Gush Etzion area, Arab terrorists threw rocks at a bus that passed through the Amos junction (the T junction) near Tekoa. One of the rocks hit the bus’s windshield and shattered it, causing the bus driver to brake suddenly and hit his head. He was treated on site by an emergency medical team.
In related news, Israeli security forces carried out counter-terrorism operations throughout Judea and Samaria, during which they arrested 11 wanted persons suspected of involvement in terrorist activities violent disturbances against civilians and IDF forces.
