Israeli soldiers stand guard at a scene of an attempted stabbing attack at the entrance to the Jewish community of Kiryat Arba next to Hebron

IDF soldiers foiled a stabbing terror attack on Friday afternoon, next to the Givat Ha’Avot neighborhood of Kiryat Arba, near Hebron in Judea.

The terrorist, a Palestinian Authority Arab, tried to stab IDF soldiers at the IDF checkpoint next to the neighborhood.

The terrorist was shot and wounded by Israeli soldiers at the scene.

No one else was physically injured in the attack.
