Jerusalemites celebrate the United Nations decision, in Jerusalem

Representatives of the 33 nations who voted for the establishment of the Jewish State in 1947 will re-enact that vote at the Queens Museum in New York this week.

That’s the place where the original League of Nations was located, and it’s the site where the vote took place, granting rebirth to the Jewish State of Israel.

Vice President Mike Pence, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchim, Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon, World Jewish Congress President Ronald Lauder and a host of others will join some 700 guests at the event.

The historic re-enactment is set to take place on November 29, the exact same date the 33 nations approved the partition plan that led to Israel’s declaration of independence 70 years ago.
