U.S. Ambassador David Friedman joined Israel’s Chief Sephardic Rabbi, Rishon Lezion Shlomo Amar, along with Tourism Minister Yariv Levin, Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz and Deputy Minister Michael Oren at the Western Wall on Wednesday evening to kindle the Hanukkah Menorah there.

The ambassador said, “On behalf of U.S. President Donald Trump and the entire government of the United States, I wish every one of you a happy Hanukkah. A holiday of light, of blessing, of joy and of peace.”
