Mayim Bialik’s Abbreviated Megillah

Mayim Bialik, of The Big Bang Theory fame, presents an abbreviated and somewhat hyper version of the Book of Esther story, sans the scene with Haman leading Mordechai on a horse through the streets of Shushan, and, naturally, without the part about how the happy Jews massacred their heathen neighbors. Otherwise – cool fun for anyone who was wondering how come the Jews don’t have their own version of Halloween.

Also – pay attention to the comments on the YouTube page. Many of them are from Christians who confess to really loving Esther and her story. So maybe it’s better that she skipped the Megillah’s gory happy ending…
