U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman and his wife Tammy visited Kfar Chabad a few days ago to bake matzos in preparation for the Passover holiday.
Friedman later used the visit as the backdrop for his Passover message this year.
“The holiday of Passover represents the Festival of Freedom,” he explains, “where the Jewish people left slavery in Egypt to come to freedom here in Israel.”

“To be here for Passover in Israel is a very special moment for me,” Friedman says in his message.
“Every Pesach at the end of the Hagaddah we say, “L’Shanah ha’ba’a b’Yerushalayim – Next year in Jerusalem.
“This year, because of the great efforts of our administration and particularly our president, when we say, ‘L’Shanah ha’ba’a b’Yerushalayim’ it has special and unique meaning. ‘Hag sameach’ to all of you.
“I wish all of you a happy holiday!” (in Hebrew)
