The Trump administration is examining a plan for regime change in Iran, according to a report in the Washington Free Beacon.
The three-page white paper is being circulated among National Security Council officials in the White House.
It suggests ways the White House can actively work to assist the Iranian public in overthrowing the radical Islamic regime. The population is already angry at the regime for spreading their wealth throughout the middle east for terror attacks, and for the failing economy at home.
An NSC official told the Free Beacon that thye wouldn’t comment on the report , but “Our stated policy is to change the Iranian regime’s behavior of continuous destabilizing regional acts and support of terrorism.”
The plan was authored by the Security Studies Group (SSG), a national security think-tank, which has close ties with National Security Adviser John Bolton.
