An Arab sniper shot at a young Jewish female IDF officer at the stairs near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron.
She sustained medium to severe injuries in her mid-section and is being rushed to Shaarei Tzedek hospital in Jerusalem.
A large security force contingency is searching for the sniper.
