Hebrew Academy (RASG) has announced that Ron Dermer, Israel’s ambassador to the United States, will be the keynote speaker at the Hebrew Academy Annual Event. In addition to speaking at the event, Ambassador Dermer is an honoree and will receive the Hebrew Academy Alumni Spotlight Award. Other honorees will include Hebrew Academy Gymnasium Founder’s Club members in recognition of opening a new gymnasium earlier this school year, Ray Breslin (Community Service Award), Mark Herskowitz (Keter Tzedakah Award), and Raquel Benzaquen and Jenny Ohana (Excellence in Education Award).

The Hebrew Academy Annual Event is a fundraiser benefiting student scholarships. The school provides about $2.5 million annually in scholarship awards allowing approximately 60 percent of the student body to attend Hebrew Academy.

The Annual Event will take place on Sunday, December 22, in the new Hebrew Academy Gymnasium located at 2400 Pine Tree Drive in Miami Beach. There will be a VIP Reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by a dinner at 6:30 pm.

RASG Hebrew Academy is an Orthodox Jewish college and yeshiva preparatory school serving students through grade 12. The school inspires students to achieve their greatest potential academically and spiritually and instills eternal Torah values in a changing world.
